Students in Year 8 and 9 enjoyed an activity packed weekend in early December at Woodrow High House, Amersham for a Chaplaincy Residential.
Angelina, Year 9 shared her experience: "I really enjoyed the whole weekend. It was so fun socialising with all my friends during the activities and back at the main house. The experience allowed me to get to know new people too.
During the day, we all participated in the activities which I enjoyed very much despite the cold weather! We did lots of team building exercises which made us all work together to complete tasks. The worship sessions we did in the evening allowed us to reflect on our experience and helped us connect with God through singing songs and listening to other people’s experiences with God.
Overall, the weekend we had was extremely fun and I would definitely go again."
The weekend encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, enjoy team building activities and explore their personal faith!
