We have a clear vision of how we want our school to develop both in terms of its curriculum and the broader educational experience on offer to all of our students. However, our funding makes it very difficult to resource enrichment activity and for this reason, to sustain and develop opportunities beyond the classroom, we have set up the Bishop Ramsey School Fund.
Bishop Ramsey seeks to create, develop and maintain an education that focuses on providing opportunities for success for all and celebrating the achievements of everyone in all aspects of life at the school. In particular the school wants and will support your child to recognise the potential that they have, and then to fulfil that potential.
Our School Fund provides resources and opportunities that enhance students’ experience of educational, cultural and sporting activities and extend their skills, abilities and view of the world, well beyond the classroom. Many secondary schools already have established school funds which have enabled them to provide additional resources and fund extra curricular activities for their students. Our aim is to use the Bishop Ramsey School Fund to provide additional extra curricular opportunities for students and support the important work of our Chaplaincy Team (which is entirely unfunded by the Department for Education).
Contributing to the Bishop Ramsey School Fund is voluntary and all your donations, no matter how big or small, are much appreciated and invaluable to us. The amount we suggest for the Bishop Ramsey School Fund contributions is £5 per term.
As a charity, we can enhance your donation by claiming Gift Aid relief.
With schools working to an increasingly tight budget, your donation really will make a difference to the educational experience Bishop Ramsey School is able to provide for your child.
