Winston Churchill Theatre, Ruislip was once again the venue for our Annual Prize Giving Awards ceremony, on Wednesday 26th June, with proud parents and staff joining together for an evening of celebration of our young people’s achievements.
Newly elected Head students for 2024-2025 Eli and Evie delivered the welcome speech to all attendees.
Students were greeted to the stage by the Head of Faculties whilst citations were read out detailing how each winner has excelled in various areas of school life. Guest of Honour Reverend Christine Britton handed out over 70 awards to proud students.
We were delighted to be joined by several guests on stage including former Headteacher Mike Udall. Mike was Headteacher of Bishop Ramsey from January 1992 until August 2002. He presented one of our special prize awards the Michael Udall Prize for Outstanding Sporting Performance.
During the course of the evening attendees were entertained by musical performances from Miranda Year 8, Maressa Year 9 and Noah Year 12.
The evening concluded with everyone joining together to sign Be Still for the Presence of the Lord before a Final Blessing was delivered by Reverend Susy Dand, School Chaplain.
Dr. Macaulay, Executive Headteacher said "Prize Giving is a particularly special event for our school where students from every year group are able to join together with their families and our staff to celebrate their success in particular subjects or across a range of different areas of school life. They should be incredibly proud both of their achievements and what they also bring to Bishop Ramsey. Huge congratulations."
